Russia and Argentina agreed to supply Russian medicines

Cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry is crucial for both the central government and provincial companies in Argentina, as emphasized by Pablo Cousiño, Chairman of the Argentina-Russia Entrepreneurs Council, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The parties also agreed to supply Russian vodka to Argentina.

Pablo Cousiño mentioned that he recently toured the impressive laboratory of the Geropharm Group of Companies in St. Petersburg. During his visit, he participated in productive discussions on promoting collaboration between the Russian Federation and Argentina in the production and distribution of insulin. The expert emphasized that there is already a signed letter of intent to initiate the supply of insulin and potentially establish an insulin production line in Argentina. He added that cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry is “very important for both the central government and provincial companies” in Argentina.
