The cost of a generic blood clot-blocking drug has been approved

The FAS has set the price for Aksartoban (dabigatran etexilate), a generic of Beringer Ingelheim’s Pradaxa.

A package of 30 capsules of Axartoban will cost no more than 1,241.18 rubles, which is 20% less than the cost of the original drug (1,634.86 rubles).

It is stated that the Russian drug has become the second domestic generic of dabigatran etexilate. First, Dabixom entered the market, and now, after “price registration for the second generic, the price of the first one has to be reduced by more than 10%. “The Service will send a corresponding notice to the pharmaceutical manufacturer,” the FAS reported.

Also on June 6, the FAS agreed on the price of domestic anthelmintic drug Praziquantel. This is the first analogue of Bayer’s Biltricide in the Russian Federation.
