Marina Egorova to take charge of commerce and marketing at NovaMedica

Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica announces the appointment of Marina Egorova, formerly director of business development, as head of the company’s commercial unit. Yulia Sobakina, who was in charge of commerce and marketing at NovaMedica since November 2017, will move on to assume the position of commercial director at Magnit Pharma LLC.
Elena Litvinova appointed new CEO of NovaMedica

Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica announces the appointment of the Vice President for Business Development Elena Litvinova to the position of its CEO. Alexander Kuzin, who was the head of NovaMedica since June 2015, has moved on to work for Pharmacy Chain 36.6 where he will take charge of the retail segment.

Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica and US-based Unipharm have launched a joint project to localize in Russia the production of Melaxen®, a drug that improves the sleep/wake cycle. Volumes are expected to reach hundreds of thousands of units per year, which will be sufficient to fully meet the needs of patients living in the territory of the EAEU.

Russian pharmaceutical companies NovaMedica and Pharmsynthez started implementing a joint project to ensure access to a number of effective products, with the full manufacturing cycle localized in Russia, for Russian patients within 1.5-2 years. The products are in the anesthesiology and gastroenterology therapeutic areas, intended for both the hospital and commercial markets.

Maria Makarova, Deputy General Director and Vice-President for Finance; Marina Aivazova, Vice-President for Personnel Management and Administrative Matters; Yulia Sobakina, Vice-President for Commerce and Marketing; Tatiana Albaut, PR Director were also included into this competent rating.

The Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica (RUSNANO's portfolio company) has registered a unique drug Fissario® for proctologic diseases treatment, based on a new mechanism of action not used in products currently on the market. This is the first drug developed within own R&D program of NovaMedica. It is planned that it will be available to patients already in 2019.

Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica (investment project of Rusnano), Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Government of the Kaluga Region have concluded Special Investment Contract (SPIC). Denis Manturov, Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of the Kaluga Region, and Alexander Kuzin, General Director of NovaMedica, signed the contract. Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, and Anatoly Chubais, Chairman of the Executive Board of Managing Company “RUSNANO”, were present during the ceremony. SPIC envisages creation of a greenfield facility for manufacturing of sterile injectable dosage forms in the Kaluga region.

Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica (investment project of Rusnano) announces start of its cooperation in the area of transfer of knowledge and technologies between the R&D Center of NovaMedica Innotech and the German company Evonik – one of the leading companies in the international market of excipients manufacturing for the pharmaceutical industry. This partnership will result into creation of a training facility for transfer of competences in the area of pharmaceutical technologies at the premises of NovaMedica Innotech in Russia.
