In 2025, Russia’s State Duma will consider a bill for new mobile pharmacies. According to Sergey Leonov, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Health Protection, they play a crucial role in ensuring that medicines reach remote villages and towns that lack permanent pharmacies.
“We have been talking about this for a long time, and the document has long been in development. Pilot projects have already been launched in the regions. Now we will see how they are implemented, and we will finalize the document,” he said in an interview with Parlamentskaya Gazeta, adding that with the adoption of the law, the activities of such pharmacies will be regulated.
Sergey Leonov also added that the committee is currently considering a number of bills. Thus, a document on the legal regulation of dietary supplements is being prepared for the second reading, and a bill aimed at popularizing blood donation is also under consideration.
