The list of specialized therapeutic nutrition products for disabled children has been expanded with three new items. The Russian government has approved the dry mixture “Alfare Gastro with breast milk oligosaccharides” and the “Frebini Energy Drink” for tube feeding in children with cystic fibrosis, alongside “Bifenilan” for dietary therapeutic nutrition aimed at patients suffering from phenylketonuria.
In August 2024, the commission of the Russian Ministry of Health proposed that certain specialized therapeutic nutrition products for disabled children be added to the official list. Before that, it was last updated in December 2023.
