Russia is to develop human vaccine against avian flu

Scientific organizations in Russia have developed candidate flu vaccine viruses to prevent H5N1 avian flu in humans, according to the press service of Rospotrebnadzor. The decision to develop these medications was made based on recommendations from the WHO.

Agency representatives have also emphasized that Rospotrebnadzor is actively monitoring the health of individuals working with poultry. They have developed and implemented regulatory documents for veterinarians and healthcare workers to guide their actions in the event of bird flu detection.

This aims to prevent the further spread of the infection among animals and humans.
