4.5 billion rubles will be invested in the production of non-woven fabric in the Kaluga region

In the Kaluga region, the second stage of a plant for the production of non-woven fabric for cosmetic, medical, household wipes, cosmetic masks, and roll towels is under construction. According to Vladislav Shapsha the governor of the region, the Naturel company has already invested 3.5 billion rubles in the project, and plans to invest another 1 billion rubles.

“Construction of the second stage of the plant is underway. After this, full-cycle production will begin,” he added. Shapsha clarified that the Naturel company is a resident of the Kaluga special economic zone, which became one of the most effective in the country in 2023 due to the largest volume of investments (114 billion rubles).

At the end of 2023, one of the largest manufacturers of nonwoven materials in Russia, the Neotex company, launched a new enterprise in the Tula region, investing 970 million rubles in the project. The production of nonwoven materials consisting of several layers of spunbond and meltblown will be established there, the production volume will be 16 thousand tons of products per year.
