The director of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare, Alla Samoilova discussed the progress made in substituting imported rehabilitation products with Russian alternatives. She informed Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin that the percentage of Russian manufactured equipment that was registered a year ago was approximately 26%. Currently, this percentage has experienced a remarkable increase, reaching an impressive 50%.
“This says that in just one year the production of equipment for rehabilitation has increased in percentage terms by almost two and a half times, that is, the share of Russian production has increased significantly,” Samoilova explained. She believes that active import substitution in this area was made possible thanks to “placement of orders at our production sites,” prompt registration on the market and rapid introduction of products into production.
