Technological description.

The device is designed for testing friability and abrasion of tablets.

The tester programming is performed by the symbol style keypad. The rotation speed can be set between 20 and 100 rpm. The test run can be selected in either time or total number of revolutions. The device is fitted out with a timer for an accurate adjustment of the testing time. During the test run, the actual rotation speed and the remaining test run duration are shown on LED display.

The tester design allows to work with drums of two types: for friability and abrasion.

The tester completely meets all the requirements of ГФ XIII (SPh XIII)/USP/EP/JP pharmacopoeias and the DIN EN 61010 requirements.
