Technological description.

This device allows to determine manually the disintegration time for tablets and other solid dosage forms. The device is fitted out with a run time and actual test media temperature indicator as well as with two test stations driven individually.

The device is designed in accordance with the requirements of the Russian (ГФ XIII (SPh XIII)) and international (USP, EP, BP and JP) pharmacopoeias as well as with the requirements for electronic equipment (DIN EN 61010).

The water bath and test media temperature is maintained with the help of an inbuilt continuous-flow heater with microprocessor control and is measured by the standard inbuilt thermal sensor and the external electronic thermal sensor Pt 100.

The tester is equipped with an automated lift-in and lift-out of the basket rack assembly.

All the test run parameters are recorded and can be hard copied via the USB printer interface.
