The Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CDAT), the operator of the Russian information system for digital labeling and tracking of goods, and Siemens signed an agreement on strategic partnership. The document was signed by Andrei Kirillov, General Director of the Center for Digital Technologies, and Zhanna Shalygina, Director of the Digital Production Department of Siemens in Russia.
Siemens will be a partner of the CDAT in the field of digital and methodological solutions for the project of marking and tracing in a number of product groups, primarily industrial ones. The companies plan to create centers of competence within the labeling ecosystem, and conduct research and development work.
“The signed agreement proves the real interest of large Western players in the project and their recognition of the Russian trend for marking and tracing. I’m sure that Siemens will become a reliable partner of the CDAT, thanks to a deep immersion in the process, competencies and an extensive pool of integrators who can become active participants in our platform,” - commented CDAT.
Zhanna Shalygina, Director of Digital Production Management at Siemens Russia, noted:
“Thanks to the partnership, Siemens solutions will be harmonized with the current requirements of the labeling system, which will make it easier for partners and customers to enter the project.”
