The City of Moscow and Rusnano, Russia’s nanotech giant, have inked a five-year agreement on interaction in the development of local innovation clusters in the Russian capital, the news agency Alliance-Media reported .
Under terms of the agreement, the partners will assist in the development of high-tech production sites and the creation of innovation infrastructure in Moscow both administratively and financially.
The partners are also expected to jointly participate in the screening of innovation and infrastructure projects developed by cluster residents; in the training of personnel for the cluster residents; in the implementation in the clusters of commercial projects developed by Moscow’s educational institutions; and in events that promote products offered by the cluster residents.
Rusnano has reportedly undertaken to stimulate demand for innovative solutions to originate from the clusters, including the promotion of such solutions across international markets.
