13,000 drugs have already passed through the tracking system in Russia

On November 1, 2018, the functions of the operator of the information system for monitoring the movement of drugs (IS MDLP) were transferred from the Federal Tax Service of Russia to the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CDAT).

The IS MDLP became part of the Unified National System for Goods Labeling and Tracking. Its website contains new section with relevant information and support service.

Participants of drugs circulation process are actively using the service; new industry representatives are joining the experiment. Since system transferring to the CDAT, 38 new participants and 49 drugs have been registered. Since November 1, 2018, more than 13,000 labeled drug packages have passed through the system. From November 1 to 6, the technical support service promptly processed about 300 calls.

Since the launch of the information system for monitoring the movement of drugs, 10,205 participants, 1,479 drugs have been registered, and 15,677,500 packs of drugs have been labeled.

CDAT is the operator of the unified national system for digital labeling and tracking of goods, conducting pilot projects on the labeling of drugs, tobacco products and shoes. The Center is in constant dialogue with the business, holds meetings with associations, and organizes educational webinars and seminars. The Center has already developed and launched a comprehensive program of testing equipment, technological and business processes of pharmaceutical enterprises. Its goal is to ensure full compliance with the requirements for serialization and aggregation of drugs at the production sites.
