Russian government allocates 16.1 bln rubles for pharmaceutical industry

Dmitry Medvedev signed a Decree that amends the State Program “The Development of Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry” in 2013-2020.

The Decree brings the financing of this state program in line with the Federal Law “On the Federal Budget for 2017 and for the Planning Period of 2018 and 2019.” The budgetary allocations for implementing the program grew by 16.1 billion rubles (from 92.2 billion rubles to 108.3 billion rubles).

In addition a subprogram on “Improving the State Regulation in the Circulation of Medicinal Products and Medical Devices”  was excluded from the state program. The main measures aimed at improving the regulation in this area are included in subprograms on developing the manufacturing of medicinal products and medical devices.
