Russia may soon start exporting medical products to Syria and India. Russian manufacturers signed a number of agreements at the most recent international Arab Health 2015 exhibition in the UAE, the largest show of medical production innovation in the Middle East and the second largest globally,  announced  the website of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

“We held talks on sales volumes and the prolongation of distribution agreements for 2015 with companies from the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait and Yemen. A new exclusive product promotion agreement has been reached with Syria; we have also agreed to start selling to India,” the source quoted Ilya Martyanov, the deputy CEO for international sales of MedSil, one of the Russian participants at the exhibition.

MedSil is already reportedly selling its proprietary line of silicone rubber based products “almost to all countries in Europe and America,” and the products “are no second in quality to American and French items but are considerably less expensive.”
