The Russian government has declared an allocation of 82.3 million rubles to the National Medical Research Center of Hematology, affiliated with the Ministry of Health. According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, this funding will be allocated to enhance the center dedicated to the research and production of cutting-edge high-tech pharmaceuticals. An order to this effect has been signed.

The allocated funds will make it possible to purchase and commission about 40 units of modern equipment in 2024. The source of funding will be the government’s reserve fund.

“The development and production of new drugs is one of the main goals of the Strategy for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry until 2030, approved by the government in 2023. It is aimed at providing the domestic market with modern domestic medicines and meeting the needs of citizens for essential drugs,” the report says.
