Every year, 1 billion rubles is allocated from the Moscow budget for the city clinics’ own scientific projects. The city is dedicated to nurturing robust medical teams, and in order to accomplish this, they must have the opportunity to engage in scientific activities, declared Anastasia Rakova, the vice-mayor of the capital.
“Every team has the opportunity to apply for this grant support, allowing Moscow clinics to autonomously carry out targeted scientific projects in collaboration either with each other or with federal centers,” she clarified.
Rakova also highlighted that the city has established a strong support system for a wide range of innovations, providing assistance in organizing clinical drug trials. According to her, the Moscow healthcare industry faces the task of “shaping the medicine of tomorrow.”
These are very large and necessarily multidisciplinary modern high-tech clinics with specialized centers. “We are working in this direction – we are completely updating the entire medical infrastructure,” concluded the vice mayor.
