Russian test systems and reagents could potentially be produced locally in Côte d’Ivoire

A delegation from the African Cote d’Ivoire, which included representatives of the pharmaceutical sector, visited Moscow and St. Petersburg. The guests visited production facilities for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, engaging in negotiations with Russian pharmaceutical and veterinary business representatives to explore potential collaborations. The Center for Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has made a statement regarding this matter.

Members of the delegation have committed to exploring the potential of integrating Russian technologies into pharmaceutical manufacturing. Additionally, they have expressed their endorsement for the partial localization of Russian diagnostic test systems and reagents production in Côte d’Ivoire.In addition, wide opportunities for the export of Russian pharmaceutical products to African countries were noted.
