This was announced by the Head of the NovaMedica Business Department Oksana KRASNYKH at the PROjections of the Future conference in Sochi.
“Today, September 21, Alzheimer's Day is celebrated around the world. This is one of the key areas of NovaMedica’s development; our own original drug with a fixed combination of the two most prescribed substances for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease is already on the market,” Oksana Krasnykh said in her speech at the conference. “Moreover, together with leading Russian specialists in the fields of neurology, psychiatry and gerontology, we have developed an Anti-Dementia Program, presented it at the level of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, and are now working on integrating this program into real medical practice.”
The already traditional conference of the PROjections of the Future series organized by the Publishing House Bionika-Media and the newspaper PharmVestnik is being held this year under the title “Pharma in Reactive Mode. Key Scenarios for Industry Development.”
Oksana Krasnykh took part in the title session “Pharma-2030. In Search of Innovation”. The participants of this strategic session, led by its constant moderator Yuri KRESTINSKY, Director of the Institute for the Development of Public Health, founder and chairman of the management board of the Bionika Group of Companies, always raise the most pressing issues of the development of the pharmaceutical industry and attract great attention from the pharmaceutical community.
This year, the experts discussed whether the new state program Pharma 2030 will allow the pharmaceutical industry to take the path of innovation. During the discussion, the issues of building new strategies for developing relationships with foreign players and the effectiveness of measures to support domestic players by regulators – the issues of “the second one out”, parallel imports and compulsory licensing – found a lively response. In addition, the most current industry analytics were presented at the session as usual.
Together with Oksana Krasnykh, Anna YERMOLAEVA (AlphaRM), Alexander BYKOV (R-PHARM), Ekaterina TRETYAKOVA (VERBA Legal) and Vadim KUKAVA (Inpharma) took part in the strategic session.
The conference will continue its work on Friday, detailed information and program are available on the official website of the event http://pharmprojections.ru/
