Scientists at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok have come up with a new brain cancer therapy. Nanoparticles can do the job, the research team believes.
The scientists have offered a method or “resetting” cancerous stem cells, the ones that trigger the growth and proliferation of a tumor and its metastases.
To accomplish a “reset” the cells have to be artificially “woken up” to activity with FEFU’s proprietary nanotechnology, and then chemotherapy comes to do its annihilation part, thus ruling out the very possibility of cell multiplication.
