According to Mikhail Murashko, the head of Roszdravnadzor, about 10,000 of pharma market participants across the country have joined the program for monitoring of preparedness for the project on the labeling of drugs.
As the head of the department noted, federal law No. 425 established the obligation for labeling drugs as of January 1, 2020.
“Monitoring is currently going, and more than 10 thousand participants across the country have already connected to the system, directly carried out data exchange, that is, they confirmed their ability for medicines labeling,” Mr. Murashko told reporters.
According to him, in each region of the Russian Federation, training centers have been established that will enable all other regional pharmacies to switch smoothly to the interaction format.
“We expect that within the whole next year the focus will be primarily on the educational programs, education of staff, convergence of the marking system with cash registers in order to minimize labor costs in pharmacies,” added the head of Roszdravnadzor.
