Sechenov University introduced five new interdisciplinary specialties

I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University), the top medical university in Russia, introduced five new specialties that combine classical medical education, biomedicine and innovative technologies.

Sechenov University features five new interdisciplinary specialties this academic year: “Materials Science and Engineering”,“Information Systems and Technologies”, “Mechanics and Mathematical Modeling”, “Nanomaterials”, and “Intelligent Systems in Humanities”.

Introduction of these specialties is associated with formation of the new approaches to the national healthcare system management, in particular, with advanced training of the next generation specialists for the Medicine of the Future.

It’s necessary to note that the training programs will include modules prepared by the world’s top academic and research centers which are partners of Sechenov University.
