Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed an order to expand the list of vital and essential drugs (VED) by adding new items. These are 17 names of drugs covering a wide range of diseases.
The list comprises medications utilized for treating lymphoma, melanoma, leukemia, breast cancer, diabetes, systemic lupus erythematosus, anemia associated with chronic kidney disease, tachycardia, lipid metabolism disorders, pneumonia, peritonitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and severe bronchial asthma. Additionally, it includes drugs aimed at preventing thrombotic complications and those used in antiretroviral therapy.
In addition to the inclusion of new names, additional dosage forms were added for four drugs already on the list – insulin lispro, daratumumab, diclofenac and piribedil.
