Russia will launch a pilot project on March 1, 2025, to monitor labeled goods manufacturers, including dietary supplements. The key objective of the project is to create an effective system for verifying data on products and their manufacturers. A methodology will be developed for analyzing information and monitoring mechanisms, along with testing access restrictions to marking codes when violations occur. Particular attention is paid to creating a system for pre-trial appeal of operator decisions by manufacturers.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade must submit methodological recommendations by February 1, 2025. The results of the experiment will be summarized by the end of August 2025. Based on them, proposals for improving legislation will be formed. At the same time, participation in the project remains voluntary for manufacturers.
