Domestic drugs now make up 60% of Russian pharmacies

Olga Krivonos, the Deputy Head of the Government of the Russian Federation, has stated that over fifty percent of the medications available in Russian pharmacies and medical institutions are produced domestically. This statement was made during the congress “National Healthcare – 2024”.

The government representative noted the significant expansion of the domestic pharmaceutical market over the past three years. About 50% of international non-proprietary names of drugs are currently produced in Russia using the full production cycle.
