The Moscow region has vaccinated more than 5,000 people against coronavirus infection with a nasal vaccine. In total, the region has purchased almost 600,000 special nozzles for this vaccination method. This is reported by TASS with reference to Svetlana Strigunkova, the first deputy chairman of the government of the Moscow region.
“Residents of the Moscow region have an opportunity to undergo nasal vaccination against COVID-19. To do this, we have purchased and delivered almost 600,000 special nozzles to polyclinics. Vaccination is performed with Sputnik V. More than 5,100 people have received nasal vaccination so far. Vaccination is the only reliable way to protect oneself against COVID,” the publication quotes Strigunkova as saying.
Special nozzles for nasal vaccination were delivered to polyclinics in September, as the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region reported.
According to the ministry, vaccination is the most reliable way to protect oneself against coronavirus and its dangerous complications. If you prefer nasal form of vaccination, you need to inform the vaccination center of the fact. Citizens can get vaccinated free of charge in any polyclinic; an appointment has to be made in advance.
