MOSCOW--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NovaMedica, a Russian pharmaceutical company, and Ferring Pharmaceuticals, a Swiss-based global biopharmaceutical company, have signed an agreement, that gives NovaMedica the rights for commercialization of a range of Ferring’s line of innovative gastroenterological prescription drug products for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in the Russian market.

The product line includes established and soon-to-launch treatments for inflammatory bowel diseases: ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and bleeding from esophageal varices.
Employees of marketing and sales departments, medical advisors and representatives of NovaMedica will market and support the products in the Russian market.
