  On October 10, World Mental Health Day is celebrated at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) and with the support of WHO. This day is an opportunity to draw additional attention to the importance and need of protecting the mental health of every person. This is also a good occasion to express gratitude to doctors – psychiatrists, psychotherapists, substance abuse specialists, gerontologists – for their hard work and effort to preserve the mental health of both each patient and our society as a whole. The search for new therapeutic solutions in the field of diseases of the central nervous system (CNS), a key link in human mental health, is a priority for NovaMedica as well.

  On September 23, 2023, the conference titled “Diagnosis and treatment of migraine: in search of perfection!” took place in Moscow with the leading experts in the field of migraine therapy with the support of NovaMedica. The topic is important, as migraine is one of the most common diseases affecting the quality of life and work ability of many people. Therefore, despite the day of the week being Saturday, interest in the event was high. The participants – Russian doctors – listened to the leading experts and asked them questions both in the hall in Moscow and via teleconference from several Russian cities, as well as in the online broadcast on the website.

• Production of one of the world's most sought-after drugs for migraine therapy starts in Moscow

  The Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica has announced the production and market launch of the first large batch of the drug Relonova^®[1] intended for relief of migraine-associated headaches. The drug is based on the Rizatriptan molecule, which for the first time is fully localized in Russia, from development and manufacturing to introduction in the specialist prescription practice. Rizatriptan is one of the most sought-after molecules in the world for relief and alleviation of migraine symptoms.

• NovaMedica to localize in Russia one of the most popular anti-migraine drugs in the world

  March 21, 2023, Moscow – Russian pharmaceutical company NovaMedica (investment project of RUSNANO) registered its own-development product Relonova^[1] (INN Rizatriptan) for migraine-related headache relief. This is the first Rizatriptan-based drug in Russia that is fully localized in the country, from development to manufacturing and introduction in prescription practice. Relonova will be manufactured in Moscow at the Technological Center NovaMedica Innotech (100% subsidiary of NovaMedica), which will enable uninterrupted supplies of the drug and its availability for Russian patients.
