In Altai, medicinal production rose by 102.5% and dietary supplements by 5.2%

The production index of food products, beverages, and medicines in the Altai Territory experienced a significant growth rate of 104.3% during the first half of 2024 (January-June). This achievement, compared to the same period of the previous year, is a testament to the dedicated efforts of the regional department for food, processing, pharmaceutical industry, and biotechnology, led by Alexander Bolshakov.

At the same time, the production of medicines and materials used for medical purposes increased by 102.5%, including due to an increase in the production volumes of drugs by 25.9%. In addition, Altai manufacturers of dietary supplements for food also demonstrated an increase in the production volumes of their products by 5.2% for the first six months of 2024.
