Sechenov University completed the creation of new Pharmacy training programs

Arzamastsev Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry of the Institute of Pharmacy at the Sechenov University in cooperation with foreign pharmaceutical companies have completed creation of the new training programs.

The first program is focused on the organization of the environmental monitoring service in pharmaceutical production. A partner in the development of this field of research was the long-time partner of the Sechenov University for various projects – AstraZeneca Industries. The knowledge of the unified requirements to the environmental parameters of any pharmaceutical enterprise will allow graduates to compete for jobs in any foreign or Russian pharmaceutical company.

The second training program, dedicated to registration and certification of the new foreign-made drugs on the territory of the Russian Federation, will allow the graduate freely navigate in the normative documentation and processes required for successful work in foreign representative offices in Russia or in foreign representative offices working with Russian distributors. Under this program, Sechenov University signed a partnership agreement with the company Angelini Pharma RUS (Italy), whose employees will be involved in the educational process. In addition, the program implies integration with the Department of Pharmacy of the Institute of Pharmacy. The cross-departmental projects use the modular training approach, thus, helping to prepare a highly qualified specialist for the pharmaceutical industry.
