NovaMedica actively involved in RNOF-2015 (Russian National Ophthalmological Forum) that took place in Moscow, September 23, 2015. This is one of the most important educational events in ophthalmology.
During this forum NovaMedica held a satellite symposium called “Bacterial eye infections: opinions of ophthalmologists and ophthalmic surgeons”. The symposium included the following speakers: Elena Vakhova (Associate Professor at Ophthalmic Disease Department of Additional Professional Education Faculty in the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, Senior Scientist of Helmgolts Moscow Research Institute of Eye Diseases) and Maria Kovalevskaya (Professor, Head of Ophthalmology Department of Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko). Our Russian colleagues were also able to share experience with Silvio Zuccarini, a leading ophthalmic surgeon, Head of Ophthalmology Department of San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital (Rome, Italy).
The symposium also covered some practical issues of the treatment of bacterial eye infection and presented the latest results of Russian studies.
